ARE

Our project, ARE, addresses the silent crisis of bullying and inequality affecting millions of youths, leading to severe mental health struggles. Many suffer alone due to a lack of immediate professional help.

- ARE provides a secure support network featuring:

- Direct Professional Connection: Booking consultations with psychologists.

- Immediate Emergency Button: Rapid access to crisis contacts.

- Self-Care Toolkit: Exercises for emotional regulation.

Aligned with SDGs 3, 4, and 10, we transform pain into healing and fear into safety, ensuring social and racial inequalities no longer block mental well-being.

Learning Journey

Learning Journey

Our team (Lavinia, Ingridy, Isabelly, and Emy ) went through a profound evolution. We learned how to create an app from scratch, which improved our computer skills and opened our minds to technologies we never imagined existed. The biggest lesson was learning how to research deeply to find the right information. We overcame the fear of the unknown and proved to ourselves that nothing is impossible when we work together.

Information Legitimacy Description

To ensure our project was legitimate, we prioritized official and professional sources. We researched mental health guidelines from recognized health organizations and the United Nations' SDGs. We also decided to use only native components from our development platform to guarantee technical reliability. By avoiding informal data and focusing on connecting users with professional psychologists and established emergency contacts, we ensured that the support provided by the ARE app is safe, accurate, and trustworthy for all young users.

Ethics

Our project was developed prioritizing user safety and data privacy. All components and tools used are native to the development platform, ensuring technical reliability. We strictly do not collect any sensitive personal information, such as government ID numbers or private documents.

Furthermore, the ARE app is designed to be inclusive and unbiased, focusing solely on providing support and resources for mental well-being. We ensure that our help resources are accessible to everyone, regardless of their social or racial background, maintaining a high standard of digital ethics and respect for our community.
