Our project is an app that raises awareness and supports women facing different types of violence, such as physical, verbal, psychological, and sexual. Many do not have someone to talk to or seek help from. For this reason, the app offers helpful features, including an emergency button, a section with information to recognize warning signs, and an AI chat where users can ask questions or talk. The app is fully anonymous, with no login or registration required, prioritizing the user’s safety.

Learning Journey
In this journey, we studied how to combat violence against women and identify abuse, linking these topics to the SDGs. We developed skills in MIT App Inventor, learning block-based logic and how to integrate a GPT API into our app to help people. During the process, we faced challenges with the interface and the API, but we resolved them with our mentors' support. We also overcame difficulties in gathering feedback by creating forms and learning how to download and test the APK on our phones.
Information Legitimacy Description
Our team evaluated the reliability of the information by consulting various sources, prioritizing official websites and academic articles in order to ensure greater credibility and accuracy of the data used. This process involved carefully verifying the information, always seeking consistent and well-established references.
Our research covered the consequences, types, and most common cases related to violence against women, maintaining focus on the central aspects of the topic. In addition, we validated the information through reports that highlighted and pointed out the issues surrounding this subject, reinforcing the importance and relevance of the discussion.

We considered ethics by focusing on accessibility and data collection. Regarding accessibility, our application uses color contrast on buttons, and in the chat we placed a white background over the original to improve visibility. In the AI chat section, we also included features such as voice typing and text-to-speech, considering people who have difficulties with vision and reading. In addition, the application is anonymous and does not require personal information, which eliminates the risk of data leaks.
