Bibliotech girls
Bibliosphere
Bibliosphere is an app developed to optimize the organization and distribution of books in public schools. Many institutions face challenges such as poorly organized collections, low circulation, and limited student access to available resources. Furthermore, the lack of data on loans makes efficient and strategic management more difficult. The app allows users to catalog books, track loans, and analyze data to identify demands and recommend books based on each student’s profile and interests. In this way, the project democratizes access to reading, strengthens school management, and promotes social impact through sustainable technology.

Learning Journey
Learning Journey
While developing Bibliosphere, we learned how to identify a real-world problem and develop viable technological solutions. We created a prototype of the app and conducted an online survey to validate the idea. We developed skills in research, organization, and teamwork. One of the main challenges was balancing our time with the team members’ schedules, but we overcame this through planning and collaboration. This experience contributed to our growth and demonstrated how technology can generate social impact.
Information Legitimacy Description
To ensure the accuracy of the information, we used reliable sources and conducted an online survey with the target audience. We analyzed the responses to understand users’ actual needs and validate the project’s relevance. We also compared the data we collected with information available in research studies and educational materials. In this way, we ensured that our proposal was based on real data and aligned with the identified problem.

During the development of Bibliosphere, we considered ethics as a core principle of our project. We prioritized students’ data protection by collecting only essential information to ensure the app functions properly and by preventing exposure to sensitive personal data.
We also focused on accessibility, creating a simple and inclusive interface that can be used by different groups within the school community. Moreover, the project was designed to promote equity in access to reading, especially benefiting public schools with fewer resources. In this way, technology is used responsibly, transparently, and with a focus on positive social impact.
