[Minas Coder's] Cyber Divas
BrainUp
BrainUp is an app designed for students in Elementary School II who struggle to understand class topics, lack engaging materials, or no longer see meaning in school. It supports them through tutoring with teachers in training, playful resources that connect subjects to daily life, and performance reports written by these tutors. The app also offers psychosocial support from undergraduate Psychology students to help users manage personal difficulties that may affect their studies. Additionally, BrainUp allows teachers to access and share educational materials, encouraging remote learning and extending student development beyond the classroom environment and opportunities.

Learning Journey
Throughout the season, we faced challenges in programming, since initially the team consisted only of Business Administration students, so we didn’t know how we would program and “bring the idea to life.” However, Júlia joined us and quickly developed the interface of our app. We also had difficulties balancing our daily studies with the development of the proposed activities, but with a lot of support from Vitória, our mentor, we were able to keep making progress on the project—even during the holidays.
Information Legitimacy Description
While ensuring the reliability of the information used to design the app, we researched data about the Brazilian population through trustworthy websites and analyzed apps already available on the market to better understand our customer, their needs, and whether the market is already saturated with similar proposals.

Therefore, we ensure the ethics of our app by requesting only the data necessary for user registration with the purpose of improving the individual consumer experience. All app features can be monitored by the teenager's guardians, as well as their performance and results. Our core values are transparency, efficiency, and positivity; thus, all our services are derived from them.
