Bulasmart

The difficulty many people face when interpreting information in medication leaflets is a common problem that can lead to doubt, insecurity, and even risks of incorrect usage, as the language used is often technical and difficult to understand. To solve this problem, Bulasmart is an app developed to simplify medication searches by offering clear, organized, fast, and reliable information. It translates the content of leaflets into a more accessible and understandable format for the general public, contributing to a safer and more conscious use of medications.

Learning Journey

Learning Journey

During the development of our application, we faced several technical and non-technical challenges. We had difficulty mainly with programming and deciding what information to include in the app. Organizing time was also complicated, as each team member was taking a different course, so we needed to meet on weekends, which often left us exhausted. Even so, we managed to overcome these difficulties through organization, communication, and collaboration. Throughout the process, we learned to program better, to work as a team, to divide tasks, and to support each other, developing technical skills, responsibility, and persistence.

Information Legitimacy Description

To ensure the legitimacy of the collected information, we conducted research using reliable and verified sources. We used tools such as Google, ChatGPT, and Gemini, as well as other research websites. We also utilized feedback from pharmacists and nurses, who positively evaluated the application and highlighted that it can facilitate patients' understanding of medication use. We compared information from different sources and reviewed the content before including it in the application.
