Cuide-se
Cuide-se is a protection and support app for users in vulnerable situations, developed to provide safe and discreet assistance. The app was designed with privacy-first features, ensuring that access to information and resources happens in a secure and sensitive way, appropriate for high-risk contexts. Its main differentiator is that it operates in a disguised way, without revealing its true purpose at first glance, in order to protect users’ safety while still offering guidance and support resources.

Learning Journey
This is my third year in Technovation Girls. In my first year, I worked in a team developing RECIGAME. In my second year, I participated alone and created Cuide-se, learning about my limits and achieving 2nd place in the Regional Pitch. This year, I started with a team including Aryelle, but she had to leave due to family issues, which required us to reorganize tasks and adapt the project. We continued developing Cuide-se with support from our mentor Gabriela. I learned about teamwork, accepting feedback, discipline, and resilience. This journey has been one of personal and technical growth.
Information Legitimacy Description
We used only official and reliable sources, such as the Brazilian Ministry of Women, the Brazilian Public Security Forum, and UN Women. We cross-checked data across multiple sources to ensure consistency and avoided unverified websites. News articles were only used when based on official data. This process ensured that the project information is safe, up-to-date, and trustworthy regarding violence against women.

When developing Cuide-se, we prioritized ethics, especially since it is designed for women in vulnerable situations. We ensured user privacy by avoiding the exposure of sensitive data and using a discreet approach to protect their safety. We also avoided collecting unnecessary personal information. The features were designed to provide support without putting users at risk. In addition, we used only reliable sources to prevent the spread of inaccurate data. Our goal was to create a tool that respects women’s autonomy, dignity, and safety, promoting responsible and conscious support.
