Our project is an anonymous reporting app designed to support women experiencing physical, psychological, or verbal abuse. It provides a safe and discreet way to ask for help without exposing their identity. To protect users, the app is disguised as a simple game, reducing the risk of suspicion from aggressors. Within the app, users can report incidents, share key information, and access support resources such as police contact, legal guidance, and psychological assistance. The goal is to make help more accessible while prioritizing safety, privacy, and empowerment.

Throughout this project, we learned how to design a solution for a sensitive and real-world problem, balancing safety, usability, and discretion. One of our main challenges was creating an app that protects the user without drawing attention. We overcame this by developing the idea of disguising the app as a game.
We also improved our teamwork and communication, aligning ideas and making decisions together. To support our work, we used online research, examples of similar initiatives, and design references to guide our choices and build a meaningful solution.

Our team ensured the information used in the project was reliable by researching trusted sources such as official websites, educational materials, and organizations focused on women’s safety and rights. We cross-checked information to confirm accuracy, especially regarding laws, types of violence, and support services.
We also prioritized clear and responsible content, avoiding assumptions or unverified data. When in doubt, we relied on widely recognized sources and consistent information across multiple references. This process helped us build a project that is respectful, accurate, and aligned with real-world needs.

Ethics was a central part of our project, since we are dealing with a sensitive and serious issue. We focused on protecting users’ safety, privacy, and dignity at all times. The app allows anonymous reporting and avoids collecting unnecessary personal data, reducing the risk of exposure.
We also designed the app to be discreet, using a game-like interface to prevent suspicion from potential aggressors. All content was carefully planned to be respectful, supportive, and non-judgmental, ensuring that users feel safe and encouraged to seek help.
Additionally, we made it clear that the app does not replace official services, but helps connect users to trusted support such as police and psychological assistance. Our goal was to create a responsible, safe, and empowering solution.
