[MinasCoders] Doe Sorrisos
Doe Sorrisos
Doe Sorrisos app is a digital platform that connects donors to institutions and families in vulnerable situations, facilitating the donation of toys and clothes in good condition. Inspired by a previously conducted social campaign, the app promotes social, environmental, and educational impact by encouraging reuse and reducing waste. It features donation registration, nearby collection point location, tracking of contributions, and gamification rewards. The platform also engages partner companies through campaigns and sponsorships. Aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, Doe Sorrisos fosters inclusion, sustainability, and community development, expanding outreach while strengthening local support networks with efficiency, transparency, and meaningful social impact.

Learning Journey
Learning Journey
According to Bergmann (2021), technical challenges are essential to understand limitations and difficulties in project development. These include coordinating team tasks, managing schedules, and transforming ideas into functional prototypes. The process also involves learning frameworks, integrating databases, and ensuring the security and privacy of donor information. Additionally, it includes implementing search filters, organizing collection and delivery logistics, conducting tests, and fixing errors. Despite time and resource constraints, there was improvement in communication, version control management, and efficiency. As a result, the team delivered a simple, reliable, and accessible solution that meets user needs.
Information Legitimacy Description
To ensure the legitimacy of the information, the team used verification strategies based on reliable sources, such as academic articles, institutional websites, and data from recognized organizations. The information was compared across different sources, considering criteria of timeliness and relevance to avoid inconsistencies. Practical validations were also conducted through informal interviews and feedback from potential users, ensuring alignment with reality. Thus, quality was prioritized in the project development, recognizing the importance of organization in creating products and services, as highlighted by Rodrigues (2011) as essential for achieving consistent and reliable results overall.

The "Donate Smiles" app project aims to help children in vulnerable social situations receive used toys in good condition, promoting solidarity and inclusion. Its ethical role is central, as it seeks to ensure that the entire donation process is carried out responsibly, respectfully, and safely.
The app prioritizes ethics in protecting user data, ensuring privacy and proper use of information. It also reinforces ethics in the transparency of actions, ensuring that the toys actually reach the children in need. In addition, we have made an ethical commitment to the physical safety of children, encouraging the donation of only toys in good condition.
Without an environmental aspect, the app acts ethically by encouraging the reuse of toys, reducing waste and the disposal of plastic. Thus, "Donate Smiles" combines social, environmental, and digital responsibility in an ethical and supportive proposal.
