We offer smart tracking, stock alerts, and PDF reports. Our standout feature is an intelligent suggestion system that identifies health patterns from recorded data. Aligned with UN SDGs 3 and 10, we promote health and social inclusion through a supportive chatbot for non-tech-savvy users. With real-time family sharing and LGPD-compliant security and independent management for multiple senior profiles. Elephas ensures dignity for seniors and peace of mind for those who care.

Learning Journey
Our journey with Elephas was defined by self-learning and resilience. Without mentors or Java classes, we taught ourselves to code and integrate AI tools from scratch. Beyond technical hurdles, we deeply learned the challenging reality of caregivers around us. This fueled our dedication to developing a full business plan and using creative design thinking: planning, drafting, and we used Canva to design our user interface and create prototypes. We led with empathy, using feedback to transform raw code into a meaningful solution. This experience proved that we can solve human struggles and create a positive social impact in our community.
Information Legitimacy Description
To ensure our information was legitimate, we conducted a three-step validation process. We started with academic research on Google Scholar to understand elderly care challenges. Then, we interviewed a professional caregiver to validate our initial assumptions against her daily experience. We also conducted quantitative surveys with over 25 users, achieving a 96% satisfaction rate on our core features. Finally, we cross-referenced all data with official health guidelines and LGPD (Brasilian Data Protection Law) standards. This triangulation of academic data, professional expertise, and user feedback ensures that Elephas is a reliable, evidence-based solution for caregivers.

During our research, we noticed many caregiving apps exploit user data through invasive practices. We chose a different path by following LGPD (Brazilian Data Protection Law) standards to ensure the least invasive data collection possible, prioritizing user privacy and security. For accessibility, we planned the app to be inclusive for caregivers with visual impairments, featuring adjustable text sizes and planned audio-descriptive buttons in the settings. Aligned with UN SDGs 3 and 10, we promote health, well-being, and social inclusion. Our goal is to ensure the app never replaces human judgment but empowers it. By focusing on transparency and inclusion, we guarantee that Elephas supports the caregiver community without discrimination, protecting sensitive health data while making technology accessible and safe for everyone, regardless of their physical or technical limitations.
