We developed the Digital School app based on a reality we experience daily, seeking to improve access to education and make it more inclusive and of quality for everyone, because we believe that education should not be a privilege, but a right for all, and our project reflects this purpose.
With the app, parents and students can access content, organize tasks, check class schedules, grades, announcements, and attendance. This helps to increase focus, improve academic performance, and make studying less tiring and more interactive.
In addition, technology brings students closer to learning, since it is present in their routine.

Our team learned how to design an educational app focused on organization, accessibility, and efficiency in students’ routines. We developed features that allow access to content, tasks, schedules, grades, and attendance, improving focus and engagement. We also recognized challenges such as limited access to devices and internet, and distractions from mobile use. To overcome these, we emphasized simplicity, usability, and the importance of continuous updates, aiming to keep the app functional and relevant despite technical and social limitations.
Information Legitimacy Description
Our team ensured the legitimacy of information by focusing on real needs within the school environment, such as organization of tasks, communication, and academic monitoring. We based our decisions on common educational challenges observed in students’ daily lives, including accessibility and engagement. By aligning the app’s features with practical demands and widely recognized issues in education, we ensured that the information used was relevant, consistent, and applicable to improving the learning experience.

When developing our app, we considered ethics by prioritizing accessibility, privacy, and responsible use of technology. We recognized that not all students have equal access to devices or the internet, so we aimed to design a simple and inclusive tool that could be adapted to different realities. We also considered data privacy, ensuring that sensitive information such as grades, attendance, and personal details would be protected and only accessible to authorized users. In addition, we reflected on the risk of distraction caused by mobile devices, encouraging a design that supports focus rather than excessive screen time. Finally, we emphasized the importance of continuous updates and transparency, ensuring the app remains useful, safe, and aligned with students’ educational needs.
