Our project aims to transform the nutrition of low-income individuals by promoting home-based cultivation as a way to reduce costs. To achieve this, we plan to use forms to identify the types of fruits and vegetables that could be grown in each person’s available space. However, our project is still in its early stages, and therefore currently includes only two questions; we intend to expand the application in the future.

My partner and I learned that nutrition statistics in Brazil are low, especially due to financial constraints. In addition, we faced difficulties with programming the login and registration system, as it was not saving information correctly; the feature was only completed after 29 attempts and with the help of Gemini. We also had to research extensively about fruits and vegetables, as we were not very familiar with the topic, and we used AI to assist us in finding relevant materials.
Information Legitimacy Description
Since we obtained coding guidance from Gemini, we tested it through practical use within the application, mainly to complete parts that were missing, as the overall logic had already been developed by us.
Additionally, the information about fruits and vegetables was gathered with the help of artificial intelligence; we requested all the bibliographic references used and verified that the information was accurate.

In the ethical aspect of the application, regarding data privacy, we do not collect any personal data; users can register with any username and password. However, in future updates, we plan to introduce features with stricter privacy considerations.
At the beginning, we did not include accessibility features due to a lack of knowledge, but this is something we intend to add in the future.
Additionally, our project promotes home-based cultivation for subsistence, so we consider its environmental impact to be minimal. However, despite being a positive initiative, there is still a strong presence of agribusiness practices that contribute to deforestation and prioritize profit.
