Friends: 4 Paws
Our project is an interactive quiz game developed on the Scratch platform, aligned with SDG 16. The main goal is to combat animal cruelty through education and awareness. In the game, players face challenges and questions that teach them about animal rights and protection laws. We believe that justice starts with knowledge; therefore, we use technology to teach children and young people that animal abuse is a crime and that we all have a duty to protect them. This is a fun, engaging tool designed to transform society into a fairer place for all living beings.

Learning Journey
Learning Journey
Our journey was defined by perseverance, as none of our team members had any prior programming experience. The biggest challenge was translating the cause of animal welfare into programming logic. We overcame this obstacle through persistence, using video tutorials and our mentor's essential support to master Scratch. Beyond technical skills, we learned design techniques to systematize our ideas and create a visually appealing game. We also utilized Artificial Intelligence, specifically Gemini, to help create images and visual elements. This experience proved that, with the right resources and collaboration, we are capable of mastering technology to stand up for our beliefs, turning our worldview into a powerful tool for social change.
Ethics
Our app is safe because it was developed on Scratch, a secure platform for educational content. As a quiz-based game, it focuses on knowledge and awareness rather than physical intervention, keeping young users safe. Furthermore, all AI-generated content was created under mentor supervision to ensure ethical standards. By promoting SDG 16, we encourage a culture of peace and legal responsibility, making the digital and real world safer for everyone.
