Voz de Menina
Girl's Voice
Many girls and women do not receive adequate preventive education to recognize situations of risk, abuse, or violence, nor do they know how to act or where to seek help. To address this issue, we propose an interactive digital platform with content structured by age group, offering learning resources, help buttons, and access to official support networks.
The development prioritizes ethics, with privacy protection, no collection of sensitive data, and a focus on anonymity. The application uses simple language, is available in Portuguese, Spanish and English, includes content warnings for sensitive topics, and avoids bias, promoting inclusion, safety, and social responsibility.

Learning Journey
Learning Journey
Throughout the development process, our team learned how to transform a social problem into a structured and accessible digital solution. We faced challenges in organizing content by age group and in defining safe features, such as help buttons and privacy settings. We also experienced difficulties in task distribution and teamwork, but we overcame them through dialogue and alignment of responsibilities. We learned the importance of ethics, appropriate language, and inclusion. This process strengthened our teamwork, critical thinking, and our ability to develop solutions with real social impact.
Information Legitimacy Description
Our team ensured the legitimacy of the information through research from reliable sources, such as official websites, educational materials, and recognized organizations. We prioritized content based on real and verifiable data, especially related to violence prevention and rights. We also sought interviews with people knowledgeable about the subject, ensuring the use of legitimate information. Additionally, we used responsible and audience-appropriate language, making sure the content was clear, safe, and trustworthy. This care was essential to develop an informative and credible platform.

Our team considered ethics as an essential part of the app’s development, ensuring that it is safe, responsible, and accessible. Regarding privacy, we avoided collecting sensitive or unnecessary data and provided a privacy policy that users agree to when accessing the app.
In terms of safety, the app was designed to avoid causing emotional harm, including content warnings for sensitive topics and a quick exit button. It also offers guidance based on reliable information and directs users to official support networks.
As for inclusion, we used simple and accessible language, with versions available in Portuguese, Spanish and English. We aimed to avoid bias by developing respectful content adapted to different realities. Additionally, we ensured transparency by clearly communicating the app’s educational purpose and its limitations.
