The platform connects recycling companies (metals, paper, plastic, electronics, and oils) with users who wish to dispose of waste correctly. Citizens report the type and quantity of material, and the registered company collects it. The model includes a monthly subscription for companies and free registration for users. The initiative reduces improper waste disposal, decreases environmental impacts, and contributes to mitigating climate change, making sustainability an accessible, efficient, profitable, and beneficial process for all of society.

The learning plan for developing the LoopRevo application begins with understanding the problem of waste management and analyzing the local context. Next, the application proposal is developed, including its features and business model. Subsequently, knowledge is acquired in programming, databases, and web or mobile development. After that, the design and user experience (UX) planning is carried out. In the following stage, the technical development of the system takes place. Then, testing and adjustments of the application are performed. Finally, the application is launched and will continue to be improved to ensure efficiency, positive environmental impact, and sustainability.

The team adopted systematic criteria to verify the legitimacy of the information. Initially, it prioritized reliable sources, such as scientific articles, government data, and reports from recognized organizations. It also analyzed the timeliness of the data to ensure relevance. In addition, it evaluated the credibility of the authors and institutions responsible. Finally, it applied critical thinking when interpreting the information, ensuring consistency with the project context and the absence of bias or significant inconsistencies.
