Learning Journey

Learning Journey

Throughout this period, we acquired knowledge about block-based programming, understanding its basic concepts and practical applications. During the meetings, there was also significant development in socialization skills, promoting group interaction and collaborative work. Additionally, an improvement in oral communication was observed, with greater clarity and confidence in expressing ideas. Finally, we had the opportunity to learn introductory concepts of application development, expanding our exposure to the field of technology and stimulating logical and creative thinking.

Information Legitimacy Description

The Mente em Rede team validated the legitimacy of the collected information through a hybrid process. Semi-structured qualitative interviews were conducted with potential users, applying cross-checking techniques of the responses. In parallel, a structured questionnaire was used via Google Forms with quality control mechanisms.
The final analysis cross-referenced both qualitative and quantitative data, verifying consistency, convergence, and sample representativeness. Discrepant cases were investigated. This method allowed the team to conclude, with a high degree of confidence, that the information was authentic and reliable to support the development of the application.

Ethics

I considered ethics as a foundation in developing the school mental health app. I prioritized user privacy by ensuring that personal data is protected and not shared without consent. I also focused on responsible use of information, avoiding automatic diagnoses and encouraging users to seek professional help when needed. The app was designed to be accessible and inclusive, respecting different backgrounds of students and teachers. Additionally, I aimed to prevent harmful or triggering content, creating a safe and supportive environment. All these measures ensure the app helps users without causing harm or exposing them.
