The proposal is to create an app that provides information on menstrual health and hygiene. The goal is to help women and girls in socially and financially vulnerable situations by offering medical advice and guidance, organizing campaigns to donate sanitary pads and hygiene kits, and implementing a points-and-rewards system that encourages solidarity and demonstrates the impact of donations.

Learning Journey
Our team learned a lot during this project, especially about creating apps and working together. At the beginning, we had some technical difficulties, like organizing the app structure and choosing the best tools. We solved this by researching, testing ideas, and helping each other. Communication was very important to overcome challenges. We also improved our creativity and problem-solving skills. In the end, we were proud of our app because it helps women with important health information. This experience helped us grow both technically and personally.
Information Legitimacy Description
Our team made sure the information was reliable by using trusted sources, such as educational websites and health-related content. We avoided unknown or unreliable sites. We also compared information from different sources to see if they matched. When possible, we used official data and articles. This helped us be more confident about the content in our project. Working carefully with information was important because our app is about women’s health, so we wanted to share correct and safe knowledge.

During the development of the project, the group sought to follow ethical principles aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations, especially SDG 1 and SDG 4.
SDG 1 – No Poverty was considered insofar as the application seeks to offer accessible support and information, which may indirectly contribute to improving the quality of life of women in different social contexts.
SDG 4 – Quality Education is directly related to the project, as the application aims to inform and educate about important topics in women’s health, promoting knowledge and awareness.
Thus, the project not only developed technical skills but also reinforced the importance of social responsibility, empathy, and commitment to building solutions that can positively impact society.
