Ecotradez is a mobile app that promotes recycling ,while contributing to climate and environmental justice. Users earn points for recycling various types of waste, which they can redeem for sustainable products in the app's virtual store. The app also provides a reporting platform where users can report non-environmental actions in their community, such as deforestation , and improper waste disposal. These reports assist the responsible environmental authorities in monitoring and mapping the country. based in its incentive recycling program and reporting platform, Ecotradez is an innovative solution for reducing waste ,promoting sustainable practices, all while advocating for a greener future.

Learning Journey
Our journey at Technovation Girls was very special, our team had an incredible cultural diversity!
With two Yemeni and one Brazilian girls, we learned to:
- Exchange ideas as a team
- How to develop a business plan for an app
- Work communication with different cultures
- Create app logos and names
-The importance of garbage recycling, the correct disposal of garbage and the impact of this on the earth.
- Use block programming along with interface design.
We had to put a lot of effort into delivering the project on time, which made us see how innovative technologies such as ChatGPT, AppInventor, Google Forms, etc., are important to make our lives easier and speed up processes that, if done without these tools , would take a long time.
In addition, classes and help from mentors and ambassadors, tutorials on the internet, videos on YouTube and the Technovation course were important sources for accelerating learning and applying technologies correctly and ethically.
