The lack of information about sex education is still a problem in society and affects many young people. Without access to accurate information or a reliable reference, many young people grow up knowing nothing about the subject, which ends up causing various health problems and preventing them from understanding their own bodies. The goal of our app is precisely to end this lack of information, helping people to properly prevent STIs, learn more about different contraceptive methods, and, in addition, seeking information about sex education helps young people make informed choices and promote respect.

Learning Journey
Learning Journey
During our learning journey, we began with app ideation and prototyping, creating solutions and initial models. We then gathered feedback, learning to reflect and improve our project. In the MIT App Inventor workshop, we developed the app and turned ideas into functional features. With the business plan workshop, we organized our project, defining audience, goals, and impact. Finally, in the video pitch workshop, we improved communication and confidence. Throughout the process, we strengthened teamwork, creativity, and responsibility while gaining valuable knowledge.
Information Legitimacy Description
The information in this app is legitimate, as it comes from reliable and verified sources, including recognized websites, educational videos, and ebooks produced by experts. All content undergoes rigorous analysis based on materials validated by healthcare professionals. The sex education app is aimed at young teenagers who do not yet have sufficient knowledge about the subject, offering safe and responsible guidance. In this way, it ensures that learning is based on scientific evidence, contributing to the formation of a healthy, conscious, and informed understanding of sexuality in an ethical and inclusive manner.

The Sexual Education application has the ethical principle of providing information in a safe way, so that adolescent girls in society can have access to reliable information on how to prevent diseases and pregnancy.
The application prioritizes users' privacy, ensuring the protection of personal data and the responsible use of information.
In addition, the application promotes respect for differences, avoiding judgment and prejudice, and encourages girls’ autonomy so they can make responsible decisions about their own bodies. It will also use clear and age-appropriate language, ensuring that all users can easily understand the content.
In this way, the application contributes to the development of more informed, aware, and confident young people, promoting greater knowledge, prevention, and quality of life.
