The Ophis App is an application aimed at identifying venomous animals through Artificial Intelligence and providing first aid guidance. It displays the identification result with the animal's danger level and basic guidance on how to act in the event of an accident. It also has an interactive guide for navigating between animals and integration with a map of nearby hospitals, helping you search for quick care. The main objective is to provide accessible, practical and reliable information for risk situations, helping with prevention and safe decision-making.

Throughout the project, we learned what venomous animals are and the seriousness of the accidents they cause, especially in contexts with little access to information and health. Developing the app showed us how technology can help with prevention, identification and emergency care. We also faced challenges such as team organization, time management and integration of ideas, which were overcome with research and adaptation. The process strengthened our critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as showing us that we are capable of creating and innovating something.
Information Legitimacy Description
To ensure the legitimacy of the information collected, we carried out research on reliable sources, such as scientific articles, official health bodies and recognized research institutes. We also consulted epidemiological data and materials from experts in the field, prioritizing evidence-based content. Additionally, we compare different sources to validate information and avoid inconsistent data. This process helped us build a solid and secure foundation for the development of the project.

During the development of our application, we considered ethical principles such as security, privacy, accessibility and responsibility in the use of information. As the solution is aimed at accidents involving venomous animals, we ensure that the application has an educational and supportive nature, never replacing professional medical care, always guiding the user to seek emergency services. We also chose to keep the application free, to ensure access for populations in vulnerable situations and in areas with a higher risk of accidents. Regarding data, such as geolocation and symptom recording, we seek to adopt a privacy approach, with restricted use and only when necessary for support in emergency situations. Furthermore, artificial intelligence is used as a tool to help identify risk, and not as a definitive diagnosis, avoiding incorrect interpretations and promoting safer decisions.
