Peças em Mim
“Peças em Mim” is an educational app in the format of an interactive game. In the app, users go through daily life situations with characters with autism that have different characteristics, such as hyperfocus, selective eating and sensory sensitivity. During the game, users need to take decisions and learn how to act in a more emphatic and inclusive way through educational quizzes and content based on scientific information and real life experiences, making the learning process more accessible and engaging.

Learning Journey
Our journey at Technovation Girls was transformative. We faced technical challenges with MIT App Inventor, especially with quiz logic and scene switching, but we overcame them with tutorials, open-source code examples, and a lot of teamwork. We also learned to handle pressure, the importance of planning, and active listening. Even with different schedules and other responsibilities, we organized ourselves, divided tasks, and stayed focused. This experience taught us that technology, empathy, and purpose together can generate real impact, and that our voice, even as a young one, has the power to change the world.
Information Legitimacy Description
Our team ensured the legitimacy of the information through data triangulation, cross-referencing survey responses with research from official sources and recognized academic databases. We validated participants' identities using institutional emails and applied rigorous filters to eliminate inconsistent, incomplete, or duplicate responses that could compromise the sample. Furthermore, we conducted direct consultations with experts in the fields of accessibility and digital law to technically validate the gathered information. This continuous verification process ensured that all project decisions were grounded in real, secure, and entirely reliable evidence, providing a solid foundation for the app's overall development and implementation.

In the development of the Peças em Mim app, ethics guide all technical decisions through the Privacy by Design methodology. We prioritize privacy, collecting only essential data with free consent and utilizing end-to-end encryption to comply with LGPD. Data is not commercialized, and we guarantee users the right to access and delete accounts.
Inclusion is fundamental, which is why we have implemented accessibility features, such as keyboard navigation and alternative texts for people with disabilities. Furthermore, we establish legal security: the intellectual property of stories belongs to the creators, who grant the app a display license. This structure protects both players and the project, ensuring a safe, transparent, and accessible environment for the entire community.
