Many young people try skincare products that can cause various problems (irritation, redness, allergic reactions, etc.). A recent survey revealed that 4 out of 10 teenage girls are completely unaware of the dangers of certain ingredients to their developing skin (Kruidvat Study / Market Report, 2025). That's why we created PureBeauty, an app that generates a personalized skincare routine for morning and evening. This helps many users prevent skin problems and adopt good skincare habits.

During our learning period, we encountered several challenges, such as Thunkable videos that were not up to date, so it was difficult for us to easily find the blocks we needed. Moreover, we could not all work on the same project; we had to create copies. Despite the difficulties we faced, we learned how to use AI to do the UI part, but the blocks part was done by hand. Additionally, we learned more discipline by holding 2 meetings per week.
Information Legitimacy Description
We assessed the legitimacy of the information by prioritizing official and recognized sources, such as Santé Québec, Statistics Canada, and the Quebec Association of Dermatologists, which ensures reliable and verified data. We also held group discussions to compare our findings, check their consistency, and confirm together that each source was credible and relevant to the project.
