RecyConnect
This prototype, based on SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), promotes sustainable consumption and production, starting in Sergipe with plans for nationwide expansion. The platform connects citizens with recycling companies for the proper milho certos, perfume bottles, and electronic waste, strengthening the circular economy and helping combat climate change.
Citizens can register their waste for free through an intuitive system, while registered companies pay a monthly fee to manage collections and provide guidance. The application increases environmental awareness, generates income, and organizes reverse logistics.
In this way, the tool reduces pollution and facilitates the connection between society and the materials recovery sector.

Our team learned the importance of organization, clear communication, and collaboration to develop the project. We faced technical challenges, such as structuring the digital platform, and non-technical ones, like task distribution and time management. We overcame these difficulties through frequent meetings, continuous research, and mutual support among team members. Additionally, we developed problem-solving and adaptability skills, which were essential for handling unexpected issues and improving the proposal throughout the process.
Information Legitimacy Description
Our team ensured the legitimacy of the information by consulting reliable sources such as official agencies, scientific articles, and reports from recognized environmental institutions. We also compared data from different sources to ensure consistency and accuracy. Additionally, we evaluated the credibility of authors and platforms, prioritizing recent and well-supported content. This process allowed us to select trustworthy and relevant information, ensuring the quality and reliability of the developed project.

The project was developed based on ethical principles of transparency and responsibility. We ensure clarity in the use of user data, with sharing with third parties only occurring with consent. In addition, we prioritize a simple interface to reach people from different backgrounds. Regarding partnerships with companies for material reuse, these require compliance with labor and environmental laws, rejecting any illegal or harmful practices for both parties. All content is based on scientific and official sources, focusing on reducing environmental impacts without encouraging excessive consumption.
