Techno Power Girls
Repas Sauvé
Our project is a mobile application designed to reduce food waste and help people in need. Every day, many restaurants throw away food that is still good to eat. Our app connects restaurants with leftover food to people who need it, including low-income individuals and those experiencing homelessness. There are two types of users: restaurants that donate their unsold food, and people who can find and pick up this food easily. The goal is to make food sharing simple, reduce waste, and support the community in a practical and meaningful way.

Learning Journey
Learning Journey
Our learning journey in the Technovation challenge was not easy, but we learned a lot. At the beginning, we did not know how to make an app or how to code. It was new for us and a bit confusing.
We worked as a team and helped each other. One challenge was to decide who does each task, but we learned to organize ourselves better. Another challenge was learning how to build an app step by step. We used tutorials, examples, and help from our mentors Emmanuelle and Junya .
They gave us good advice and helped us when we did not understand.
We are also proud because we presented in English, even if it is not our first language. It was a big challenge for us.
In the end, we learned how to work together, solve problems, and create something new. We are happy and proud of our project.
Ethics
We made sure that our application is safe for the planet and everyone who uses the application. We used a lot of really good resources like Google and other resources like that. Our application is safe for the planet because it reduces lots of pollution it is also safe for the people who use the app because everyone gets a good meal for free.
