Safe Stride
We created an app focused on the safety of people who practice physical activities and extreme sports. The app allows users to register a profile with essential medical information, such as chronic diseases, allergies, medications, blood type, and health insurance, helping responders during emergencies. During exercise, the platform monitors risk signals and emits vibrations and audible alerts for the user and nearby people. If there is no response to these alerts, emergency contacts are automatically notified. If silence continues, the system calls rescue services, ensuring a fast, accurate response and increasing the chances of saving lives every single day.

Learning Journey
Learning Journey
Our learning journey involved several stages. We had to decide which programming language to use and which platform would best meet the team’s criteria; at one point, we decided to switch development platforms, so we had to learn a different language and race against the clock to get everything we wanted up and running. In addition, we were able to improve our teamwork, because with a larger team and new delivery models, we had to step out of our comfort zone and surpass what we had already built.
Information Legitimacy Description
We conducted research through articles and news reports to develop our project; however, to further validate public opinion regarding our proposal, we carried out a field survey using online forms, asking respondents why they do not exercise outdoors and seeking to understand whether an app like ours would be useful. Fortunately, the responses were positive regarding our initiative.
