Safewoman
Our project is an app designed for women's safety. It will work by allowing women to contact the police and their closest contacts in case of danger, while simultaneously sharing the location of the woman needing help. This will be activated with a simple voice command or three quick clicks on the power button. We wanted an accessible and easy-to-use app, which we felt was necessary due to the high number of femicides worlwide.

During the creation of our application, we encountered many technical problems, so many that they ended up delaying us significantly. To solve them, we constantly watched explanatory videos and consulted teachers, acquaintances, and mentors.

To determine if our app was truly needed by the target audience, we separated the research functions for each of us and always researched on reliable websites, noting the sources of each site.

When creating our app, we considered the possibility of a login page with the necessary information, but we ensured that the user felt safe and comfortable. For example, we do not request invasive information and do not allow leaks that compromise security. Our app does not harm the planet, as it is focused on women's safety and does not affect the environment. A positive impact of our app's technology is that it assists women in dangerous situations, preventing more victims of homicide or sexual harassment.
