The platform offers real-time location sharing, background checks, and an innovative "listening mode" system activated by a personalized keyword. When triggered quickly and discreetly, the app automatically sends alerts with location to emergency contacts and official channels. Our value proposition is to act before the worst happens, ensuring protection before it is too late.

Throughout this project, our team learned about the seriousness and growth of violence against women and the importance of creating preventive solutions. We developed skills in research, critical thinking, and teamwork, as well as understanding how to transform a real problem into a technological solution. One of our main challenges was defining effective features that could work in real-life situations, which we overcame through feedback and analysis of real cases. We also improved our communication and problem-solving skills, ensuring that Safyra is practical, accessible, and focused on saving lives.
Information Legitimacy Description
To validate the legitimacy of the information used in the Safyra project, we relied on official data from trusted institutions focused on public safety and women's protection. We analyzed recent reports and statistics from government sources that demonstrate the increase in violence against women and compared information across multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency. In addition, we considered real-life experiences reported by women, including cases involving partners with criminal records and situations of violence and deception. This combination ensured that the problem addressed is real, relevant, and supported by credible evidence.

When developing Safyra, we prioritized ethics through a commitment to user privacy and safety. The "listening mode" and real-time location sharing were designed to be activated only via a personalized keyword, ensuring that data collection is a conscious choice during moments of vulnerability.
We have an ethical responsibility to offer a discreet tool that prevents violence without exposing women to additional risks. Therefore, the app focuses on rapid integration with support networks and official agencies. Additionally, our structure seeks transparency in data usage and plans for future partnerships with NGOs for women's protection, reaffirming our positive social impact and commitment to acting before dangerous situations materialize.
