UniSister
UniSister combats dropout rates and insecurity among female university students moving to new cities. Many freshmen face isolation and risks to physical and emotional well-being when starting this journey alone. Our app connects these students with senior mentors selected by universities, offering guidance, local orientation, and academic assistance. By strengthening this female network, we provide the necessary stability for students to remain in higher education safely and with emotional support, making the university transition an inclusive and equitable process for all women.

Learning Journey
Throughout the project, we developed teamwork skills, strengthening communication and collaboration. We improved our public speaking, fluency, and confidence in presentations, making them clearer and more secure. We also increased our responsibility regarding deadlines and deepened our programming knowledge through practice and research. We overcame difficulties by adopting a more proactive stance, learning from mistakes, and exchanging knowledge. Furthermore, we overcame shyness, improving our social interactions within the team, which contributed to our personal and collective growth.
Information Legitimacy Description
The research form for identifying the problem was completed anonymously and voluntarily; however, its reliability was presumed due to the information already observed in the study environment. To confirm the collected data, face-to-face interviews were conducted with students regularly enrolled in an educational institution and with the institution's director, ensuring the reliability of the responses.

Data security will be guaranteed by the institution's student union, which will select freshmen and mentors for the application. The student union will then register them on the application and send the registration information to them. To ensure the security of freshmen and mentors, upon their first access, they will be required to change their password so that the student union does not have access to them after registration. The email address used by the student union for registration must be the same as the email address used for enrollment at the institution and will be verified by the institution to ensure that the student is indeed enrolled.
