The team aims to better support their classmates struggling to quit drug abuse through Saidia, a mobile application made by MIT App Inventor that helps curb drug abuse by educating people on the effects of drug abuse, form support groups, track their progress as well as provide a helpline contact that is easily accessible.

Learning Journey
We all learnt how to speak without fear in front of people and a camera. We also realized the importance of teamwork, delegation of duties and proper planning within a short time by setting a list of priorities. We understood how to use Canva for documentation and MIT App Inventor for block-based programming. We found the beginner tutorials to be very helpful. We also learned that drug abuse is a major challenge that students in Kenya face. We also understood the concept of market research.
